$65,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr A trusted producer of premium pickled vegetables and maraschino cherries is seeking a QA Supervisor to join its quality-focused operations team. This hands-on role oversees quality documentation, ensures compliance with regulatory and third-party audit standards, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. The QA Supervisor will play a key role in maintaining HACCP, GMP, and QACCP compliance while working closely with production staff, senior QA leadership, and external auditors. They are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive professional with a background in food and beverage quality assurance who thrives in a collaborative, family-oriented environment and is ready to grow with the company.
Salary Range:
$65,000 - $70,000 / year DOE
QA Supervisor Responsibilities
Oversee quality assurance documentation and ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, QACCP, and regulatory standards Monitor and enforce document control across cannery operations; update SOPs and specifications as needed Provide on-site QA support for the production of pickled vegetables and maraschino cherries Prepare for and assist with FDA, GFSI, WSDA, USDA, and third-party audits Conduct root cause analysis investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions Develop, maintain, and train staff on quality and food safety programs Assist with risk assessments and mitigation strategies Support continuous improvement projects during slower production seasons
QA Supervisor Requirements
2–3+ years of quality assurance experience in the food & beverage industry Experience with internal and external audits Proven background in root cause analysis, corrective actions, and document compliance Strong skills in writing and updating SOPs Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related field Proficiency with MS Office Suite; ability to learn new systems quickly HACCP, SQF, PCQI, or food safety auditing certifications is a plus Prior supervisory experience is preferred
