Jobright.ai Booz Allen Hamilton International (U.K.) Ltd is seeking a Senior Systems Administrator to enhance technology supporting the Department of Defense. This role involves installing, maintaining, and auditing secure MS Windows networks, guiding teams in network performance management, and identifying opportunities for network modernization. Responsibilities: • Install, maintain, audit, and support a secure MS Windows network environment • Analyze and test new software and software version upgrades in test environments before deploying to production • Administer ACAS scans and provide results and reports during weekly vulnerability meetings • Verify STIG compliance using automated tools to ensure benchmarks are met • Manage virtual workstations and servers using VMWare • Guide your team as they provide customers insight into their network through monitoring and performance management • Evaluate opportunities for improvement in a mission critical network • Turn metrics into information and explain their meaning • Share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as you help the team work through challenges and develop new methodologies • Identify new opportunities to modernize the network to help your customers meet their needs Qualifications: Required: • 5+ years of experience as a systems administrator, network engineer, or cybersecurity engineer • Experience with VMware hypervisor environment and managing virtual machines • Experience with Service Ticketing systems • Experience with tools such as Dell WYSE Management System, Active Directory, SCCM, Hyperflex, and SolarWinds • Knowledge of Windows and Unix operating systems • Ability to author, interpret, and analyze technical documentation • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam • HS diploma or GED Preferred: • Experience with tools such as LogRhythm or Jira • Knowledge of government-wide system design • Ability to work with STIGs and group policies • Bachelor’s degree in a CS, Information Assurance, or Cyber field Company: BOOZ ALLEN HAMILTON INTERNATIONAL (U.K.) LTD is a management consulting company based out of 100 NEW BRIDGE STREET, LONDON, United Kingdom.
