The role involves establishing technical standards, coordinating with architects, and ensuring high-quality solution development. Responsibilities: • Establishing careful and high-quality practices and processes. • Building out a suite of cloud infrastructure to support new AI, ML, NLP, and other data science services and applications. • Supporting ad-hoc cloud infrastructure projects. • Coordinating with MCG's team of architects to ensure solutions are aligned with MCG's architectural best practices and security requirements. Qualifications: Required: • Hands-on experience managing complex infrastructure with code • A long history of successfully operating services in Kubernetes • Familiarity with the ins & outs of securing cloud environments • Experience operating a service with strict compliance requirements (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, ISO-27001, etc) • Ability to setup new projects and handle the tricky parts of the SDLC • Willingness to help junior team members and collaborate with peers Preferred: • Familiarity with de-identification services for healthcare data • Familiarity with healthcare interoperability standards (eg HL7) • Experience with Databricks, Flyte, and/or FastAPI Company: MCG Health, part of the Hearst Health network, provides unbiased clinical guidance that gives healthcare organizations confidence in their patient-centered care decisions.
