Vice President of Digital Technology & Operations

to lead our digital technology strategy and execution. In this role you will lead the strategy, development, and optimization of the company’s marketing, Ecommerce and sales technology ecosystem to enable personalized, data-driven, and scalable engagement across all channels. Reporting to the Chief Digital and Technology Officer, this role will be instrumental in enhancing the customer experience, accelerating digital growth and driving Omni channel sales by bridging marketing and technology functions. The VP will collaborate cross-functionally with teams in marketing, eCommerce, IT, data, and brand to drive value from marketing technology investments. M attress or home furnishings industry would be ideal! This position is based at our HQ location in Doraville, GA . We work in a Hybrid environment, Tues-Wed-Thurs in office, Monday & Friday virtually. Relocation will be provided for our ideal candidate! Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership Design and stand up the Digital Technology and Operations functions with a clearly defined operating model. Define the Technology vision and roadmap aligned with the company’s digital transformation and customer experience goals. Lead the integration of MarTech-related resources and capabilities from marketing, IT, and digital teams into a unified function. Establish team goals, performance standards, and a strong culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Serve as a senior liaison between marketing, eCommerce, IT, sales, operations and data teams to ensure technology enables business outcomes. Lead a team of Digital professionals focused on implementation, integration, and performance optimization. Platform & Ecosystem Management Manage and optimize the digital technology stack including CRM, CDP, CMS, ESP, DAM, and marketing automation tools. Oversee the integration of MarTech platforms with eCommerce, POS, analytics, and ERP systems to support a unified customer experience. Leverage AI as a key enabler across the Digital ecosystem to drive consumer insights and conversation rates. Data & performance analytics Own marketing and Ecommerce analytics strategy including dashboards, KPIs, attribution models, and ROI reporting. Drive performance insights through AI and other innovative technologies to inform strategy, optimize spend, and improve conversion funnels. Lead initiatives for data hygiene, segmentation, and audience and persona targeting. Work with our technology/digital team to manage the technology budget and vendor relationships, including negotiations, renewals, and performance evaluation. Align investment decisions with evolving digital strategies and business objectives. Team Integration & Change Management Manage organizational changes as teams and capabilities are merged into the Digital function. Foster alignment and collaboration between previously siloed groups, establishing clear roles, workflows, and communication channels. Provide coaching, structure, and clarity through periods of transition and new capability development. Team leadership & cross-functional collaboration Build and lead a high-performing team of digital technologists, analysts, and operations professionals. Act as a strategic partner to sales, marketing, operations, IT, finance, service line and executive leadership to align on priorities and technology needs. Enable omnichannel personalization through strategic use of customer data, segmentation, and journey orchestration. Develop AI driven predictive consumer insights and targeting. Work closely with data teams to ensure data accessibility, quality, and compliance (CCPA, GDPR, etc.). Partner with marketing and brand teams to enable effective campaign execution through technology. Identify and implement emerging tools and technologies (e.g., AI/ML, customer journey analytics, automation, predictive) to improve performance and efficiency. Qualifications 10–15 years of experience in marketing technology, digital marketing, or related fields, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role. We'll say it again...

Proven experience leading Digital programs in a

consumer goods ,

retail , or

manufacturing environment ;

mattress or home furnishings industry preferred

. Experience building or transforming marketing technology or digital function, including merging cross-functional teams. Strong technical knowledge of Digital platforms and AI (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud, Braze, HubSpot, etc.). Certifications and/or demonstrated experience in Salesforce, Marketo, Adobe, Wordpress or similar platforms. Experience developing and deploying scalable marketing operations in highly matrixed environments. Hands-on experience implementing CRM, CDP, DAM, or personalization platforms. Deep understanding of digital customer journey mapping, segmentation, data governance, and analytics. Extensive knowledge of the current AI Digital landscape and the business value proposition. Strong communication and influencing skills across technical and non-technical audiences. Collaborative leadership style and proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders. Preferred Experience Familiarity with both DTC and retail/wholesale business models. Experience in marketing technology transformation or modernization initiatives. Comfortable leading in a matrixed or evolving organizational structure. Background in managing vendor relationships and tech contracts. Seniority level
