Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role. 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch. 2 years of experience in data or AI/ML domains.

Preferred qualifications:

Master’s degree or PhD in a technology or business related field. 3 years of experience in a business function or role (e.g., marketing, business operations, consulting). 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to the leadership. 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales, finance, and other stakeholders. Excellent problem-solving skills, with experience using A/B testing and user research methodologies. Understanding of ecosystem products with creators, viewers or advertisers.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

As a Product Manager in Trust and Safety, you will play an integral role in supporting product enhancement for YouTube worldwide. Our team is tasked with building out the infrastructure, tools, and data warehouse used to keep YouTube safe. You will work closely with various groups at Google to help make a safer web for everyone. You will gain an understanding of YouTube, its business and technology, and be at the center of a variety of technologies across Google. In this role, you will be exposed to graphic, controversial, and sometimes offensive video.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $156,000-$229,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

Define the product outlook, strategy, success metrics, and road-map for different applications of AI data insights. Understand the needs and journeys of users to discover opportunities. Drive cross-functional product execution for next-generation initiatives from ideation through launch and iteration. Communicate product strategy and results to stakeholders at all levels, including leadership.
