Job Description:
Under the leadership of the Manager, a Software Engineer is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, maintaining, and providing production support for software systems in accordance with business requirements and the technology roadmap.
Specialization
Software Engineers specialized in Data Warehousing develop, deploy, maintain and support PriMed's corporate data warehouse and Master Data Management systems. The work primarily involves procuring and cleansing data from internal and external systems and incorporating it into reportable structures for general analytical use across the company. They must be experts in SQL, TSQL, SSIS, SSAS, Snowflake, Matillion & Denodo as well as relational and dimensional design concepts.

Requires supervision in most aspects of job. Participates in team discussions and design sessions. Participates with business during requirements gathering and refinement, demonstrations and trainings. Complies with development guidelines and code reviews. Respects organizational boundaries. Participates in, and builds their connection to purpose at Hill. Requires no supervision. Leads team discussions and design sessions. Owns multiple designs and presents at ESG. Facilitates with business during requirements gathering, refinement, demonstrations and trainings. Owns development guidelines for their specialty; performs code reviews. Respects organizational boundaries. Champions connection to purpose at Hill. Help team mates develop/find their purpose. Pro-actively suggests system, process, and organizational improvements.
Job Complexity
This role calls for independent and complex tasks solved solely through own decision making. Projects that are high in complexity and in scope, risk, and/or organizational span, including subprojects of larger, more complex projects. Requires no guidance from lead, supervisor or manager. Leads projects that meet most of, but not limited to, following characteristics: Complex process change/training to business Interdependencies with other areas. Complex changes involving 3 or more systems Operational Risk: High
Required Experience and Professional Skills:
Experience
4-7 years in Health Care IT required.
Professional Skills
Expert in technologies and business specific to their specialty. Mentors others in technology and business. Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills Demonstrates strong analytical, design, and documentation skills. Healthcare industry experience required. Proficiency with MS Office Suite, MS Project, Visio, and collaboration tools Strong multi-tasker, self-starter Expert mentor in technical and business arenas.
Required Education and Certifications:
Education
BS in Computer science or MIS preferred.
Certifications
Achieved multiple certifications relevant to specialty.
Additional Information:
Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 Annual
