$260,000.00/yr - $300,000.00/yr Unicorn startup building AI supercomputers is seeking an exceptional Staff Infrastructure Engineer to join its Infrastructure team. The company is at the frontier of artificial intelligence innovation, developing transformative solutions that address global challenges. Role Overview The Staff Infrastructure Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing high-performance compute fabrics to support the company’s large-scale AI workloads. This position requires a seasoned professional who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is passionate about building robust, scalable systems to power next-generation AI models. Key Responsibilities Designs and implements advanced compute fabrics for large-scale AI clusters. Optimizes GPU-intensive infrastructure for maximum efficiency and reliability. Manages and scales Kubernetes-based systems on Linux environments. Develops monitoring and observability solutions using tools like Grafana to ensure system performance. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive infrastructure innovation and support AI model training and deployment. (Nice-to-have) Implements zero-touch provisioning processes to streamline infrastructure deployment and scaling. Requirements Proven Expertise : Extensive experience designing and managing large-scale AI clusters, with a focus on GPU cluster architecture. Technical Proficiency : In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes and Linux systems administration. Monitoring Experience : Proficiency with Grafana for observability and performance monitoring. Attributes : Exceptional problem-solving skills, a passion for cutting-edge technology, and readiness to excel in a dynamic startup environment.
