As we continue to grow, we're seeking a sharp, service-oriented Property Manager to join our team and help us deliver a best-in-class ownership experience to our customers. The Role — A Day in the Life of a Property Manager at Doorvest As a Property Manager at Doorvest, you’re at the intersection of service, operations, and execution. You’ll act as the primary steward of a residential portfolio, working cross-functionally to ensure each home is well-maintained, cash-flowing, and delivering on its investment promise. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, ownership-driven environment where outcomes matter more than job titles. You’ll be empowered to make decisions, drive results, and act as a trusted partner to our property owners, vendors, and internal teams. Portfolio & Property Operations • Oversee daily operations for a portfolio of rental properties, ensuring timely leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and renewals • Manage vendor relationships and dispatch field teams for inspections, repairs, and turnovers • Monitor local compliance, permitting, and regulatory requirements Owner Experience & Communication • Act as the point of contact for property owners—keeping them informed, aligned, and confident in Doorvest’s stewardship • Deliver monthly performance updates, answer questions with clarity, and escalate issues with solutions in hand • Maintain high customer satisfaction scores across all owned metrics Business Performance & Process Execution • Monitor and drive portfolio KPIs (occupancy, rent collection, maintenance SLAs, NOI performance) • Collaborate with leasing, maintenance, accounting, and resident services to execute across the ownership lifecycle • Identify inefficiencies and propose process improvements to drive scalability Who We’re Looking For Owner-Minded Operator You don’t just manage tasks—you own outcomes. Organized Executor You manage multiple properties, vendors, and timelines with confidence. When something slips, you catch it before others notice. People-First Service Leader You’re passionate about helping others—whether it’s a homeowner trying to grow their wealth or a resident requesting a repair.
