Position Overview In this critical role, as a Senior Technical Project Manager for the Responsible AI Program, you will apply your expertise in program and project management skills to manage the needs of a complex, dynamic, enterprise-wide AI governance program. Your excellent written and verbal communication skills will be essential to build trust-based relationships with data science, business teams, and executive leadership across the enterprise. You will be responsible for ensuring and maintaining consistency in process and procedures across RAI platforms, program documentation, guidance documentation, and training. You will use your expertise to identify opportunities for continuous improvement throughout the program, balancing shifting priorities toward the overall mission of the program.
Job Summary Building on your knowledge of artificial intelligence concepts, you will attain expertise on topics related to Responsible AI, such as evaluating AI for performance, fairness, or security. You will influence across the enterprise by interacting with data science leaders and business executives to educate and advise on responsible AI. This role is crucial as the RAI Program's standards evolve with emerging technology and market demand.
As a Sr. Technical Project Manager within the Responsible AI Governance Operations team, you will operationalize and scale governance infrastructure supporting enterprise-wide Responsible AI initiatives. Responsibilities include managing governance workflows, supporting the AI Review Board (AIRB), coordinating AI risk reviews, and driving continuous improvement in AI lifecycle oversight. You will report to the Sr. Director of Responsible AI Governance and collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Data Science, and Technology teams.

Job Type: Contract
Salary: $48 - 58 per hour
Work Hours: 8am to 5pm
Education: No Degree Required
Responsibilities
Support the execution and continuous improvement of governance processes, including AI inventory management, AIRB operations, and AI risk assessments.
Manage intake, triage, and tracking of AI use cases, ensuring timely reviews.
Support implementation of technical tools and automation to streamline workflows.
Draft and maintain governance documentation, including process maps and SOPs.
Partner with Compliance, Legal, and Technology teams to ensure regulatory and internal policy alignment.
Develop metrics and dashboards to monitor governance effectiveness and identify improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Business, Technology, or related field.
5+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably in compliance, risk, or governance.
Experience managing cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
Strong communication skills, ability to translate complex concepts.
Familiarity with AI/ML, data governance, or digital health innovation.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and project management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare, life sciences, or regulated industries.
Experience in AI governance frameworks (e.g., NIST AI RMF, OECD Principles, EU AI Act).
Experience supporting audit readiness or compliance initiatives.
PMP or similar project management certification.
