GENERAL JOB SUMMARY :
This position is responsible for a range of duties related to analytics, reporting, market insights, and industry trends. It involves interfacing between sales, marketing, business development, shoppers’ insights, business analytics, and market research to develop and manage strategic solutions that drive profitability and category growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES : Create, maintain, and analyze the company’s sales data, including customer and market data. Develop documentation related to category management and sales activities. Determine sales potential based on new and existing data. Gather and analyze data to prepare detailed reports. Present weekly/monthly sales reports to senior management. Suggest improvements for marketing and sales campaigns. Forecast industry and sales trends. Review past and current sales performance. Utilize internal and external data sources for report preparation. Present insights, recommendations, and feedback on sales performance. Analyze and maintain internal sales data. Research current market trends. Evaluate and develop pricing proposals. Optimize sales activities and compare daily productivity. Maintain a professional appearance and exercise good judgment and discretion. Be reliable, flexible, and maintain confidentiality. Uphold high ethical standards and comply with company policies. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Pursue continuous improvement in work processes. Perform additional duties as assigned, in compliance with laws. COMPETENCIES :
Customer Focus, Problem Solving, Innovation, Adaptability, & Collaboration QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, supply chain management, or related field. At least three (3) years of experience as a Category Analyst or similar role. EXPERIENCE : Strong communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports and presentations. Effective time management and ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure. Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, including formulas, power queries, and macros; willingness to learn new software. Strong analytical skills and ability to present complex information effectively to leadership and partners. Minimum two (2) years experience with Salesforce or similar CRM/ERP software. Knowledge of syndicated data sources like IRI and Nielsen. Excellent mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively across functions and independently. Experience in Food and Beverage or CPG sales preferred. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS :
Occasional travel by air and car; may include travel outside the U.S. MEASURE OF PERFORMANCE : Performance will be assessed through oral and written reviews. WORK ENVIRONMENT :
Work is performed remotely and onsite in a professional setting. The role involves standard office equipment use, with typical hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with some flexibility. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Must be able to talk, hear, sit, and occasionally stand, walk, and lift up to 10 pounds. Vision abilities include reading and analyzing data on paper and screens.
