Join the operations team that is driving the success of both the client and the company in the Fund Services organization. We are looking for an analyst to join our fast growing team, Global Derivative Operations (GDO). The team supports an extended function namely working on Cash Collaterals across various product types within fund services (Accounting) world. As a Fund Servicing Analyst – configuration role within the company, you will play a crucial role in our fund servicing configuration team operations. Your primary focus will be on setting up automations for daily routine transactions by collaborating with various tech teams. You will also apply your knowledge of fund servicing to ensure smooth operations, while also identifying opportunities for process improvements. Furthermore, you will also have the opportunity to work in a cross-asset environment with exposure to all types of Collateral Instruments (OTC, CFD, REPO, TBA, Mortgage Backed Securities, etc.) from the most straightforward to the most complex. Your emotional intelligence will help you build strong relationships and influence better outcomes. This role is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, knowledge across COLLATERALS of various product types, and contribute to our team's success. Job responsibilities · Execute routine fund servicing transactions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established guidelines and procedures. · Collaborate with operations to streamline processes and enhance efficiency in fund servicing operations. · Stay vigilant about cybersecurity practices, proactively detecting possible threats and deploying strategic measures to safeguard information and systems · Utilize active listening and questioning skills to understand and address client needs, fostering strong relationships and promoting deeper understanding. · Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, applying innovation and design thinking techniques to enhance the efficiency and resilience of our operating platform. · Candidate must have intermediate to advance knowledge level of Excel (Knowing how to use formulas and pivot tables is a must) · Dealing with all client and broker queries for automation purposes. · Experience (academic or professional) on automation or improvement of processes will stand out among other candidates. Programming language knowledge will also be highly pondered. · Responsible for Collateral Reconciliation & transaction processing job setups end-to-end for clients globally from the Boston location. · To setup reconciliation & transaction processing jobs accurately and efficiently against all core controls Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills · Baseline knowledge or equivalent expertise in fund servicing operations, with a focus on executing process improvements. · Proven ability to apply active listening and questioning techniques to understand and address client needs effectively. · Experience in continuous improvement initiatives, with a focus on applying innovation and design thinking techniques to enhance operational efficiency. · Bachelor degree or prior work experience · Strong technical skills including accounting principles and theories · Knowledge of 40 ACTs Fund Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Tax Operations · Ability to be effective in a global operating environment and a matrix management organizations · Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with clients and counterparties · Quick learner both technical knowledge and systems. (experience or expertise on Alteryx, Tableau, Xceptor, Reconciliation setups, etc. will be stand out) · Experience of working with technical teams on streamlining processes through automations & worked in the past on projects · Results oriented; ability to create and sustain a target driven environment · Self-Motivated with a flexible approach to working hours · What are the top 3 things you look for in a candidate? - Proactiveness as the candidate will need to think ahead for potential solutions whenever any problem arises - The candidate must have good analytical skills in order to adequately investigate issues, identify and assess information and follow a successful action plan to meet an objective - Candidate must be able to work in a team environment and have good communication skills to work alongside internal/external teams. · What are any disqualifiers? - Lack of Excel knowledge: Candidate must have intermediate to advance knowledge level of Excel (Knowing how to use formulas and pivot tables is a must) · What specific work experience (or skills) would stand out on a resume?
