Fund Manager
is a key client-facing role responsible for managing the service delivery and relationship with a portfolio of investment fund clients. This role ensures that all fund administration services—including accounting, reporting, and investor communications—are executed with excellence and in accordance with client expectations, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. The ideal candidate is both client-focused and operationally strong, with a background in fund accounting or fund operations. Key Responsibilities: Act as the primary liaison for assigned fund clients, ensuring exceptional client service and proactive communication Manage the end-to-end delivery of fund administration services, coordinating across internal teams including accounting, investor services, compliance, and technology Monitor service levels, timelines, and deliverables to ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, NAV calculations, investor reporting, and capital activity Lead regular client meetings and status updates, addressing questions and resolving issues Coordinate and oversee the onboarding process for new clients or fund launches, including fund setup and process alignment Partner with fund accounting teams to review financial statements, capital calls/distributions, and other client deliverables Support audits, regulatory filings, and tax reporting by managing relationships with third-party auditors and tax providers Identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and improve the client experience Maintain a deep understanding of each client’s fund structure, investment strategy, and unique service requirements Mentor and guide internal team members to ensure alignment with engagement goals and standards Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CFA a plus) 5–8+ years of experience in fund administration, public/private fund accounting, or financial services Solid understanding of fund structures (private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, real estate, etc.) Strong knowledge of fund operations, GAAP reporting, and investor communication protocols Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality service under tight deadlines Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills Familiarity with fund accounting platforms (e.g., Investran, eFront, Allvue, Yardi) Ability to handle multiple client relationships and lead cross-functional teams effectively Preferred Attributes: Prior experience in a client service or relationship management role within a fund admin or asset management firm Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills High attention to detail with a commitment to quality and client satisfaction Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment #45791 Seniority level
