Harmonic are proud to be working with an innovative, fast-scaling Saas / ClimateTech business headquartered on the East Coast that is seeking a high-calibre Financial Analyst to join their finance team. This mission-driven organization leverages cutting-edge technology, advanced data modelling, and AI to help global organizations anticipate and adapt to environmental challenges. Their platform is already used by major Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and international NGOs, enabling smarter operational decisions in industries from logistics and aviation to energy and insurance. The Role This is a newly created position reporting into the Director of FP&A. You’ll be working closely with both the executive leadership and operational teams, providing financial insights to guide strategic decision-making. This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to transition out of Investment Banking and into a high-growth operating company, with exposure to commercial strategy, investor relations, and data-driven decision support. Duties: Build and own detailed financial models to support long-term strategic planning and near-term operational decisions Partner with department leaders to analyze KPIs, assess business performance, and identify opportunities for growth or optimization Support Board and investor reporting with high-quality presentations and analysis Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis Analyze market trends and competitive dynamics to inform go-to-market and product strategies Partner with senior leadership to evaluate potential partnerships, investments, and other strategic initiatives What you need 1–2 years’ experience in Investment Banking (M&A, coverage, or equity research) Exceptional Excel and financial modelling skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distil complex data into actionable insights A proactive, self-starter mentality with strong attention to detail What we’d like to see Passion for technology, sustainability, and mission-driven work Experience working with high-growth or technology companies (via IB or client exposure) Comfort operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment Location:
