Quantitative Analyst

Eclipse Trading is a leading proprietary derivatives trading firm with offices globally including Chicago. The Quantitative Analyst will be part of a close-knit team based in the Chicago office, reporting to the US Trading Team Lead and Senior Trading Analyst of Quant and Integration. Responsibilities include performing quantitative analysis to improve and develop trading strategies, working with traders and quants to identify and solve technical trading problems, and building and maintaining analytical tools and libraries. Candidates must have 2+ years of experience with mid-to-high frequency volatility trading in the US market, expertise in options portfolio optimization and strategy back testing, proficiency in Python, and a relevant tertiary degree in a quantitative field. The role requires a collaborative mindset, excellent English communication skills, and authorization to work in the US. Desirable experience includes relative value and dispersion volatility strategies, short-dated options, and event-driven volatility pricing research.
