Who You Are
You have 3-5 years of law firm experience, primarily representing banks, other institutional lenders and borrowers in secured and unsecured loan transactions across various domestic and cross-border finance transactions. Preference is given to candidates with specific experience in leveraged lending, syndicated lending and sponsor finance. You have demonstrated experience with leveraged finance, although candidates with other debt finance experience will be considered. You are skilled in drafting, editing, and reviewing financial documents, including loan agreements, security documentation, intercreditor agreements, commitment papers and closing documentation. You are proactive, with a strong business sense and the ability to effectively manage internal and external client and counsel relationships. You can communicate complex matters clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing, and are committed to delivering excellent client service. You have a strong work ethic, team player attitude and an action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for transactions. You demonstrate high initiative, strong interpersonal skills, and demonstrable client relationship skills. You are admitted to the state bar in which you are practicing or are eligible to waive in.
