They are seeking an IT Asset Visibility and Security Engineer to implement cybersecurity strategies that protect the digital network, connected assets, and applications within the IT environment. Responsibilities: • Guiding the design and implementation of secure solutions and services across our business and IT support areas. • Security architecture across a variety of applications or domains, including cloud computing, and assigned to project/initiatives of large size, complexity, and risk. • Driving successful configuration and implementation of security solutions to reduce risk. • Developing actionable security blueprints, principles, models, designs, standards, and guidelines to ensure information technology architecture and support is consistent, usable, secure, and adds value to the business. Qualifications: Required: • A minimum of eight (8) to twelve (12) years’ relevant experience. • A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the individual’s degree is not in the applicable field then four additional years of related experience is required. • Knowledge, experience, and certifications with relevant tools such as Armis Centrix, Data pipeline engineering, Splunk use and knowledge object development, Windows and Linux system administration, Python scripting and automation implementation. • Works on high-visibility, or mission critical aspects of a given program, and performs all functional duties independently. • Oversees the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or be responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job. Preferred: • At least one of the following certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GIAC, RHCE, CPTE, or CEH) • Demonstrated ability to apply statistical and deep learning technology, strong oral and written communication skills, ability to prepare and interpret flowcharts. • Ability to apply large language model based tools to accelerate business processes, ability to build & maintain schedules and step-by-step action plans; strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the demonstrated ability to positively influence peer organization and key stakeholders Company: Castalia Systems offers biometric, open source, all source, and signals for intelligence analysis in Florida.
