Position Overview
The Tax Manager will oversee complex tax engagements across a network of acquired firms, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and exceptional client service. This individual will play a critical role in team leadership, strategic planning, and client relationship management as we continue to scale.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts across multiple entities Lead a team of tax professionals, providing mentorship, technical guidance, and performance feedback Ensure compliance with evolving tax laws and PE-backed reporting requirements Collaborate with firm leadership and acquired firm partners to streamline tax operations and maintain quality standards Identify tax planning opportunities and proactively advise clients on strategies to minimize tax liabilities Review financial statements and coordinate closely with accounting teams Oversee and refine internal processes to improve efficiency and consistency across entities Serve as a primary point of contact for complex client inquiries and escalated issues
