Minimum Qualifications : Valid certification as a Mammography Technologist from an accredited body. Current state licensure to practice as a radiologic technologist. Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program. Preferred Qualifications : Experience in a clinical setting performing mammography procedures. Additional certifications in breast imaging or related fields. Familiarity with electronic health record systems. Responsibilities : Perform mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols and safety standards. Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and understanding of the procedure. Maintain and operate mammography equipment, ensuring it is functioning correctly and safely. Collaborate with radiologists to ensure high-quality images are obtained for accurate diagnosis. Document patient information and imaging results accurately in the electronic health record system. Skills : The required skills for this position include proficiency in operating mammography equipment and a strong understanding of imaging protocols. Attention to detail is essential for ensuring that images are of the highest quality for diagnostic purposes.
