Base pay range
$150,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr *Visa sponsorship NOT available for this role* TalentCo are delighted to be working with one of Silicon Valley's most exciting Agentic AI startups (YC25), looking to hire 2 world-class Founding AI Engineers into their growing HQ in downtown San Francisco. Having very recently raised a huge seed round from top investors, they’re now keen to bring in high-potential, hyper-ambitious and AI-obsessed software engineers, as they continue build out their engineering org. You will become a founding employee reporting directly to the Co-founder & CTO, designing and building full-stack applications that power AI-driven workflows for enterprise users for this early-stage startup of 8 people, so this is a rare opportunity to work extremely closely with the founders. This is a dream role for a driven software engineer to play a key role in building and scaling AI-powered applications, transforming how enterprises interact with intelligent agents. Design and build full-stack applications that power AI-driven workflows for enterprise users, building scalable backend services that support real-time AI interactions, knowledge retrieval, and automation. Work across the stack, with a backend focus: Own features end-to-end with React (TypeScript) and Python, blending UX and ML into production-ready code. Move fast with the latest tools: Leverage modern AI dev tools (Cursor, Windsurf) to experiment, prototype, and launch quickly. Be a collaborative, growth-minded engineer: Ship clean, tested code, embrace peer reviews, and contribute across design, product, and ML. We want to hear from you if: Real-world AI/ML experience: Delivered AI-driven features to users and hungry to stay ahead of the latest AI innovations. Early career experience: 1+ years building products in fast-paced or startup environments, with an eye for quality and scale. Top recent CS grads are welcome to apply if you have interesting AI/ML focused internships under your belt. Backend-leaning full-stack fluency: Skilled in React/TypeScript and most importantly Python. Education to back it up: Computer Science degree from a prestigious school. Entrepreneurial spirit: You have the mindset and approach of a Founding Engineer. You get sh*t done. What do they offer?
