Salary : $175,000 - $185,000
TCA Benefits:
401K Retirement Savings Plan and up to a 4% match; Medical Insurance- employer pays 85% of single HMO rate. Dental and Vision Insurance- employer pays 100% of single HMO rate. Employer-Paid Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance. Employer- Paid Long Term Disability. Nine (9) paid holidays per year. Twenty-one (21) days of paid time off.
Position Summary
The Chief Financial Officer has overall responsibility for corporate accounting, financial reporting , financial planning and forecasting, treasury, tax, compliance, SEC reporting, risk management, and investor relations functions. This position requires a strategic and visionary leader who can provide informed and objective counsel to top management on business issues and will offer technical and experience -based advice to peer executives and subordinates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(include but are not limited to the following);
Responsible for monthly closing activities. Responsible for cash management including bank reconciliation. Coordinate the filing of all tax documents. Oversee design and operation of overall control policies and procedures within organization. Oversee design and maintenance of property management database (controls over integrity data). Oversee and direct accounting division. Oversee direct audit, accounting, site administration and long-range forecasting for the organization. Oversee treasury, budgeting, tax purchasing, real estate, and insurance activities for the organization. Act as final reviewer of all income statements, balance sheets, tax returns; including sales tax and reports for government regulatory agencies. Management of accounting systems. Responsible for the establishment of consistent processes and procedures throughout the organization. Analyze, consolidate, and direct all cost accounting procedures together with other statistical and routine reports Manage a staff of direct reports, including the Controller, AP/Payroll Clerk and Grants Accountant. Administer all aspects of the payroll and benefit components. Analyze operational issues impacting functional groups and the whole institution and determine their financial impact. Evaluate and recommend business partnering opportunities. Assist the CO with investor relations, capital markets and stock-related activities. Prepare and/or review all contracts. Responsible for the establishment and maintenance of consistent and logical pricing across all customer segments.
Required Skills And Abilities
Knowledge of Management and Accounting Information Systems and public accounting. Experience with benefits administration and human resource issues. Must have strong general operations background. Knowledge of public company and SEC reporting

Excellent interpersonal skills: Capable of working with personnel at all management levels. Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills and report writing and presentations. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze key financial data and assess its impact on the organization quickly and accurately. Budgetary/Financial Reporting: Capable of consistently meeting aggressive reporting deadlines. Must be able to take the initiative on a wide variety of projects essential to growing the business. Must possess excellent organizational and planning skills in order to meet key business objectives. Must be quick, smart, flexible, a creative problem solver, able to bring out the best in his/her staff, promotes teamwork between departments, and is tenacious about achieving organizational goals. The ability to manage growth and consistent change.
Education / Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting with CPA or MBA, preferred. Minimum 5 years in Senior Financial position or related experience.
