The position of
Regional Technical Product Manager
works with regional and global R&D teams on projects related to product management, OEM specifications, and application development. This role collaborates with Global and Regional Technical Product Managers and interacts with scientists at Envalior’s manufacturing and R&D facilities in Germany, Netherlands, India, and China. Main Responsibilities Act as the interface between 'customers/market' and R&D for the region. Manage performance complaints within the region. Support ADTS, CAE, BDM, and Sales with material technical expertise, involving R&D scientists and PD when necessary, especially for complex technical inquiries from customers. Serve as the interface between manufacturing and R&D in the region. Lead technical aspects of product maintenance projects (PMR), especially regarding raw material qualification. Ensure the APQP process is followed for new or modified compounds, particularly during manufacturing process or hardware changes. Coordinate with regional production sites on capability analysis and improvement actions (via PMR or PSDR). Prepare for scale-up and introduction of new or modified raw materials to manufacturing. Decide on the release of non-conforming batches of commercial grades and advise when a batch cannot be released. Work with manufacturing to identify root causes of non-conforming batches. Purpose The

Impact of Position This role is crucial in communicating highly technical information across R&D, ADTS, Product Management, and Sales. Effective communication helps position Envalior’s products competitively, supporting business growth and customer satisfaction. Requirements Master’s or PhD in Material Science or Polymer Chemistry (consideration given to candidates with relevant experience in lieu of a degree). At least 5 years of experience in plastics. Strong technical, project management, stakeholder management, interpersonal, and negotiation skills. Leadership experience is preferred. Experience working with global teams is required.
