Serving one of the top appliance brands in the world, we specialize in final-mile delivery and installation of appliances across four locations: Nashville, Atlanta, Birmingham, and Denver. With a reputation for professionalism, care, and precision, our team is the last face customers see — and we take that responsibility seriously. We're growing fast and looking for a strategic, hands-on Director of Operations to help us lead from the ground up — overseeing our regional warehouse and delivery teams, driving performance, and ensuring our standards stay high as we scale. Primary Responsibilities: Operations Management: Set high standards for operational efficiency, safety, and service quality across all divisions; develop metrics to track performance and ensure accountability throughout the organization. Oversee operations in multiple warehouses, ensuring timely package processing, dispatch, and delivery while maintaining high productivity and quality standards. Develop and implement operational strategies to meet service-level agreements (SLAs). Conduct regular site visits to evaluate operational efficiency and adherence to company policies. Monitor compliance with legal, regulatory, and company-specific operational standards. Coordinate logistics and supply chain processes to maximize efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Manage and allocate resources, including staff, technology, and equipment, to support business growth and operational demands. Lead, train, and develop warehouse supervisors and staff, fostering a positive, high-performance work environment across all locations. Act promptly to effectively manage crisis situations or correct customer service issues. Motivate and inspire others to do their best work; model appropriate work values and behaviors. Establish and monitor objectives and timeframes to maximize individual and team effectiveness and success. Effectively prioritize, manage and accomplish multiple tasks/functions in an organized and effective manner; effectively delegating tasks and managing resources to ensure accountability for results. Performance Monitoring: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for each location to ensure operational efficiency, cost control, and service excellence. Analyze performance data to identify trends, strengths, and areas requiring improvement. Conduct regular reviews with regional and location managers to assess performance against objectives. Customer Focus: Ensure a customer-centric approach in all aspects of the business, prioritizing satisfaction and loyalty. Monitor customer feedback to identify opportunities for service improvement. Collaborate with operational teams to address customer challenges effectively. Set standards for response times, quality, and communication to enhance the customer experience. Develop long-term strategies for building and maintaining trust with key customer segments. Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and regulatory bodies, to maintain trust and drive business growth. May require regional travel up to 60% of job time. Perform other related duties as assigned.
