About the Role
We are seeking a high-impact, analytical, and forward-thinking
Director of Corporate Strategy and Development
to lead strategic planning, market analysis, and growth initiatives that shape the future of our business. In this critical role, you will work directly with executive leadership to evaluate new opportunities, drive strategic initiatives, and support mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and other key corporate development efforts.
This is a highly visible, cross-functional role ideal for a strategic thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys turning insights into action.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Lead the development and execution of annual and long-range strategic plans, working closely with senior leadership across functions. Market & Competitive Intelligence: Conduct in-depth industry research, competitive analysis, and trend forecasting to inform business decisions and identify growth opportunities. Corporate Development: Support or lead deal sourcing, due diligence, financial modeling, and post-merger integration planning for acquisitions, partnerships, and strategic investments. Business Case Development: Create business cases and financial models to evaluate new markets, product lines, and expansion strategies. Executive Reporting: Prepare board-level materials, strategic updates, and leadership presentations that clearly articulate company performance, risks, and opportunities. Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with finance, product, marketing, operations, and other departments to ensure alignment and execution of strategic initiatives. Growth Initiatives: Identify and lead special projects focused on operational efficiency, new business models, international expansion, or go-to-market optimization. Innovation Scouting: Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies, market disruptors, and partnership opportunities aligned with company priorities.
What You Bring
8–10+ years of experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, investment banking, or corporate development (experience in SaaS or tech industries preferred) Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; comfortable with market sizing, ROI analysis, and M&A frameworks Proven ability to manage multiple complex initiatives and communicate clearly with C-level executives and board members Experience developing and executing high-impact business strategies with measurable results Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive presentations Highly collaborative with strong project management and stakeholder alignment skills Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or similar advanced degree preferred
