Torrance Memorial . Description The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor and consultant to supervisors within the healthcare organization. This role supports the delivery of human capital strategies aligned with operational goals, fosters employee engagement, and ensures compliance with employment laws and hospital policies. The HRBP works collaboratively with leaders to drive organizational performance, support talent management, and improve workforce effectiveness. Core Competencies Partner with department leaders to understand business objectives and develop HR strategies that support organizational goals. Provide coaching and guidance on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution. Lead investigations into employee concerns, complaints, and policy violations in coordination with Legal or Compliance as appropriate. Analyze HR metrics (e.g., turnover, engagement, leave trends) and provide actionable insights to leaders. Facilitate initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture. Support organizational change initiatives by advising on communication, training, and impact mitigation. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, wage and hour) and healthcare-specific HR regulations. Collaborate with HR leadership to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices. Education Degree Program:

Bachelor's in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Experience Master's degree or HR Certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR/SPHR) preferred. Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years as an HRBP or generalist. Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting highly preferred. Familiarity with Joint Commission, OSHA, and healthcare workforce regulatory standards is a plus. Compensation Range:

$84,000 - $137,000 / Salary Additional Details:
