MTSI is seeking a
Data Solution Architect
to lead the design, development, and governance of advanced data architectures aligned with organizational goals and complex enterprise ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in innovation and leadership, guiding cross-functional teams and advising senior executives to deliver scalable and secure data solutions. Key focus areas include data mesh, hybrid cloud architectures, and AI/ML pipelines. Qualifications and Requirements
Architectural Focus:
Proven ability to design and govern data lakes, warehouses, and lakehouse architectures supporting large-scale analytics. Proficiency in cloud-native data architecture across AWS, Azure, and GCP ecosystems. Design Thinking:
Familiarity with design thinking principles and user-centered data product design, collaborating with UI/UX teams for intuitive systems. Leadership and Communication:
Strong communication and leadership skills, with experience advising executives, managing initiatives, and mentoring teams. Governance and Security:
Knowledge of data governance frameworks, privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and security for various data types. Technical Expertise:
Experience with modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Synapse) and data modeling tools (ER/Studio, dbt, Apache Atlas). Integration and Pipelines:
Expertise in data integration (Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica, Fivetran) and real-time streaming (Kafka, Kinesis, Flink). Experience:
Minimum 15 years in data architecture or engineering, with a background in designing secure, high-performance data solutions. Strategic Vision:
Ability to align technical architectures with business strategies and translate complex requirements into data-driven solutions. AI and MLOps:
Familiarity with AI/ML pipelines, model training, and MLOps (preferred). Certifications (Highly Desired)
CDMP - DAMA International AWS Certified Data Analytics - Specialty Google Professional Data Engineer Azure Solutions Architect Expert TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture certification Mission-Critical Experience
Experience in regulated, mission-critical, and government environments, designing secure or classified data solutions for sensitive applications. Educational Background
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (required) Master’s or PhD (preferred) Work Location & Security
Work from a local MTSI office Active TS/SCI security clearance required; US Citizenship mandatory SAP experience is a plus but not mandatory Why Join Us?
