(Morris Plains, NJ) OR (Austin, TX) 12 M Contract Our Fortune 15 Health Services client is looking for a dynamic Product Owner to join their Pharmacy team. As a Senior Product Owner within the Pharmacy area, you'll lead the charge in turning complex business needs into actionable, technical outcomes. This role plays a key part in shaping the direction of pharmacy operations by translating strategic initiatives into clear, prioritized product requirements. You will partner with cross-functional teams—including engineering, architecture, and operations—to deliver high-impact solutions that drive measurable business value. Key Responsibilities: Translate complex business needs into functional and technical requirements. Own and manage a defined product or capability, including roadmap, cost, and technical health. Write detailed, definition-of-ready user stories, incorporating input from architects and engineers. Lead backlog grooming, sprint planning, and story refinement sessions. Collaborate with stakeholders to align product vision, priorities, and outcomes. Identify and resolve dependencies across teams, supporting delivery of MVPs and epics. Monitor and communicate KPIs and product health metrics, advocating for continuous improvement and tech debt reduction. Utilize agility tools like Jira to manage workflows and optimize team performance. Qualifications: 5–8 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or technology development. Strong background in pharmacy finance, billing, or collections preferred. Proven success working in agile environments and leading scrum ceremonies. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Jira, and business process modeling tools. Strong analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-stakes setting.
