Job Summary The Customs Compliance Partner will oversee customs compliance responsibilities under the Supply Chain Group This position will provide a assist with leverage expertise in international trade regulations, particularly USMCA, anti-dumping, countervailing duties, and Customs and Border Protection compliance. Essential Functions Ensure that trade operations adhere to U.S. and international regulatory standards Safeguard the company against risks while enhancing the efficiency of our global trade processes Clarify trade practices and contribute to the overall success of our manufacturing operations by setting standards and routines to drive compliance excellence Accurately maintain all necessary records and documentation related to customs clearance, including but not limited to import/export records and duty/tax payments Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for trade compliance activities, ensuring progress toward compliance goals, including audit outcomes and non-compliance prevention Tariff classifications, duty rates, preference program qualifications, and other applicable customs compliance criteria with the customs broker. Audits customs entries for correctness and conformity with appropriate laws and regulations Provide training and advice on the changes in customs requirements. Monitor changes in trade regulations (e.g., U.S. Customs Regulations, HTSUS, NAFTA) and advise key stakeholders on how these changes will affect global operations Assist in maintaining and enhancing the global trade compliance program, ensuring it meets regulatory standards and fostering continuous improvement through audits and corrective actions Other duties as assigned Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field or equivalent level of experience 7 years of experience in trade compliance Demonstrated experience in tariff classification Intermediate or above skill with Microsoft Office Programs including Excel, Word, PowerPoint Preferred Education and Experience Requirements Certification in trade compliance, e.g., Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) or similar In-depth knowledge of USMCA, anti-dumping, and CBP regulations Experience with Change Management Language Requirement None Travel Requirements UP to 10% The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
