Integrated Production Systems, Inc. (IPS) is a custom automation company located in Arlington, Texas. We have been in business for over 30 years, specializing in providing production solutions for Defense and Commercial industries. We have extensive experience in the energetics (explosives) and semiconductor industries.
Who We’re Seeking:
We are looking for a Program Director with a strong background in industrial engineering and automation and/or other complex integrated operations, who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality, reliable solutions.
What You’ll Do:
This job is onsite/in-office each day. You’ll also be responsible for:
Lead Program operations from contract award through closeout, ensuring performance across cost, schedule, technical, and quality objectives. Direct the development of planning across subsystems and functions that feed financial systems and the Integrated Master Schedules (IMS). Manage performance on both prime and subcontract relationships, ensuring data deliverables and technical milestones are met or exceeded. Oversee program EAC development and accuracy in coordination with team leads and provide monthly forecasting outputs for executive review. Drive accountability for program performance metrics through formal reviews, risk analysis, and mitigation planning. Partner with leadership on budgeting, resource planning, and contract profitability tracking. Serve as the primary executive interface with U.S. Government customers, including DoD program offices, Contracting Officers, and Contracting Officer Representatives. Lead and support Program Management Reviews and other contractual engagements. Support digital integration of program and operations data for improved insight, responsiveness, and audit readiness. Mentor and develop program managers, project leads, and functional contributors with a focus on execution rigor and compliance-first culture.
Who You Are:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a technical discipline Minimum 15+ years of experience in government program execution with direct oversight of complex DoD contracts. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional program teams that have included engineering and manufacturing. In-depth knowledge of U.S. Government contracting regulations including FAR, DFARS, ITAR, and DoD acquisition lifecycle. Proficient in program management systems including MS Project, ERP tools, and SharePoint-based collaboration environments. Familiarity with DCAA/DCMA audits. Experience supporting proposal development, team reviews, and basis-of-estimate preparation.
Additionally, You’ll Need These Technical Skills:
U.S. Citizenship required. Ability to obtain or maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance. Travel up to 25% to support program sites, customer meetings, or industry engagements.

Master’s degree International experience Background in DoD or government automation projects
