Mule ESB Software Engineer

We’re looking for a Senior Mule ESB DevOps Engineer to support the ongoing development and optimization of our CI/CD environments and infrastructure platforms. This role is responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient release processes, system configuration, and supporting high-availability environments. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to implement automation, maintain middleware platforms, and support code integration pipelines. Key Responsibilities: Drive the buildout and evolution of continuous delivery environments aimed at improving deployment speed, safety, and operational consistency Collaborate with architects, developers, and engineers to implement and support scalable automation solutions Design, deploy, and maintain production environments and related tooling (e.g., release management, code builds, and configuration systems) Oversee validation, packaging, and deployment of code to multiple target environments Set up and manage deployment architecture, monitoring tools, and automated alerts (e.g., dashboards, observability agents) Partner with other teams or vendors to ensure seamless design and implementation of integrations involving external systems Serve as a point of contact for development, QA, and operations teams in supporting changes, configuration, and incident resolution Assist with user and environment configuration, testing automation, and release support Participate in code and design reviews, and provide feedback on other engineers’ deliverables Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in a technical field 5–8 years of DevOps or infrastructure experience Minimum of 3–5 years working with Mule ESB in a middleware administration capacity Strong knowledge of MuleSoft Runtime Servers, including troubleshooting and performance tuning Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Connectors 3+ years working with Azure Pipelines, CI/CD concepts, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Familiarity with automated testing, release orchestration, and modern DevOps tooling Seniority level
