The Senior Software Engineer will work with the Microsoft Identity & Network Access team to develop systems that protect critical infrastructure and enhance security through data intelligence and technical leadership. Responsibilities: • Develop investigation, eviction and detection systems to protect critical infrastructure. • Collaborate with threat investigators and design durable automated systems to generate insights, signals to catch threat actor. • Build and run security systems, data platforms that provide detection of anti-patterns and anomalies via machine learning. • Technical lead for engineering excellence, influence adoption of secure systems. Qualifications: Required: • 3+ years of experience designing and delivering scalable software systems. • 2+ years of experience with data technologies. • Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Preferred: • Solid foundation in software engineering principles and architecture design • Experience in software development lifecycle, large-scale computing, Cloud Computing and Distributed Systems.
