With over 40 years of experience, they specialize in affordable and mixed-income housing across New Jersey and New York. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing high-volume invoices, managing vendor payments, and ensuring accurate coding across multiple properties. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines, and experience with real estate accounting systems like Yardi or MRI. It’s a key position that supports smooth financial operations within a fast-paced property management environment. Key Responsibilities: Process high-volume invoices and ensure accurate coding to appropriate GL accounts and properties Manage invoice approvals and monitor workflow for timely payments Prepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and wires Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly Maintain vendor records, including obtaining W-9s and issuing 1099s annually Assist with month-end closing, including accruals and AP-related journal entries Communicate with property managers, vendors, and internal departments to resolve issues Support the accounting team during audits and provide required documentation Qualifications: 2+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience; real estate or property management experience strongly preferred If you're a detail-oriented professional with a passion for numbers and experience in real estate AP, this is a great opportunity to join a stable and growing team.
