Responsibilities:
Work with raw data, including big data, and have knowledge of preprocessing procedures and data preparation for modeling. Experience in feature engineering is required.
Develop and debug code in Python, Java, C, or C++, with proficiency in git version control. Knowledge of R and Matlab is also relevant.
Design and evaluate intrinsic and extrinsic metrics of model performance aligned with business goals.
Define how to build and deploy systems around intelligent algorithms.
Work with computational packages such as TensorFlow, Theano, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-Learn, NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Pickle, Seaborn, statsmodels, NLTK.
Apply Natural Language Processing techniques for Named Entity Recognition, Sentiment Analysis, and topic modeling. Familiarity with Latent Dirichlet Allocation is preferred.
Assess opportunities and develop models to support Sanctions Screening alerting and decisioning.
Innovate solutions for sanctions screening challenges.
Build model diagnostics, justification paradigms, and testing/training approaches.
Apply machine learning and statistical modeling methods for supervised and unsupervised learning, including regression, clustering, outlier detection, decision trees, collaborative filtering, support vector machines, ensemble methods, neural networks, and deep learning.
Tune algorithms and analyze results to extract actionable insights.
Communicate complex data products clearly and effectively.
