Sr Principal Mechanical Engineer
in Roy, Utah, supporting the GSSC program related to the Minuteman III ICBM system. This position offers relocation assistance and requires a Secret clearance, with travel of approximately 25%. Responsibilities include:
Providing technical leadership for component and tool design, requirements, manufacturing, and refurbishment processes. Interacting with the government customer to meet project expectations and schedules. Developing mechanical integration approaches based on USAF requirements. Performing system analysis, trade studies, and data analytics. Managing development milestones, risks, and opportunities. Qualifications:
Bachelor's in STEM with 8 years of experience, or Master's with 6 years, or PhD with 4 years. US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance. Experience working with external customers, ICBM/Aerospace/DoD programs, Environmental Control Systems, Systems Engineering, and leadership roles. Preferred skills:
Maintenance and reliability engineering experience. Proficiency with ANSYS, MATLAB, CAD tools like Siemens NX, and MS Office. Experience with government clients and DoD clearance. Benefits:
