The expected salary range is $113,400 to $126,000, depending on experience, plus benefits. Primary Purpose of Position The Senior IT Analyst, Data Governance is responsible for ensuring data is properly cataloged, maintained, and analyzed for quality. The role acts as a subject matter expert in data governance practices, including metadata management, data quality assessments, and data stewardship, helping improve data discoverability, reliability, and security while ensuring compliance. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Develop and manage the organization's data catalog, ensuring accurate data representation and metadata management. Perform complex data quality assessments and work with stakeholders to resolve issues and improve processes. Collaborate with data stewards and governance teams to enforce data standards and ensure compliance. Provide training on data management best practices and document processes and data lineage. Stay updated on data management trends and recommend improvements. Support data migration, integration, and new initiatives to ensure seamless data catalog integration. Conduct data analysis and support the construction and maintenance of the data warehouse. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field with 5-8 years of experience or equivalent. Proficiency with data cataloging tools, metadata management platforms, SQL, and data modeling. Experience with data quality management, ETL processes, and data warehouses. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with tools like Collibra, Microsoft Purview, Informatica Data Quality, Alation, Talend, or similar platforms. Experience with data catalog and metadata management platforms. Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in data governance. Experience in training and mentoring team members on data practices.
