One Federal Solution One Federal Solution is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will lead and support the planning, execution, and monitoring of complex federal health programs. This position requires a seasoned project management professional who can operate independently, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure timely and successful delivery across the full project lifecycle. The role demands strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills and experience within scientific or health-related environments, such as biomedical, pharmaceutical, biotech, or academic medical institutions.
Project Manager Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain comprehensive project artifacts, including charters, implementation plans, and milestone tracking tools. Create detailed project schedules, timelines, and deliverables to guide execution of program activities. Monitor federal funding associated with programs/projects and provide regular financial tracking and reporting. Identify project risks, formulate mitigation strategies, and lead the resolution of challenges to ensure continued project momentum. Coordinate communication and collaboration among diverse stakeholders, including scientific and administrative teams. Synthesize data and prepare summaries, briefings, and status reports that highlight key findings and support informed decision-making. Implement and promote project management best practices, tools, and methodologies across programs. Provide additional project coordination support as needed to ensure seamless program execution.
Project Manager Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as science, public health, business, or project management is required; Master's degree in a related field is strongly preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in project, program, or portfolio management. Demonstrated experience managing projects in biomedical, pharmaceutical, biotech, academic medical centers, or other health-related organizations. Advanced understanding of project management principles and the full project lifecycle. Proven ability to document and maintain project management tools, templates, and processes to improve organizational performance. Strong analytical skills with the ability to integrate complex information from various sources. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for scientific and non-scientific audiences. Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
