Job Summary: Bank of America is committed to helping make financial lives better through the power of every connection. They are seeking a Director; Senior Data Scientist who will enable analysis and optimize information products while creating sophisticated analytic systems to support various business needs. Responsibilities: • Enable analysis, model, and optimize through producing information products. • Create sophisticated, value-added analytic systems that support revenue generation, risk management, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, portfolio management, and research. • Adopt enterprise information products through clearly communicating how enterprise information products answer material banking questions leading to decisions and actions. • Clearly document the use of various Optical Character Recognition models (OCR). • Perform back testing, benchmarking, and scenario analysis for multiple models. • Conduct ongoing model performance monitoring for models used on various operations and technology teams. • Test Al models for 16 risk dimensions including fairness, ethics, algorithmic bias, algorithmic transparency, information security, and privacy. • Coordinate with Model Risk Management on upcoming model risk reviews. • Build, test and document quantitative models consistent with model development procedures and model risk management expectations. • Apply statistical skills of distributions, statistical testing, and regression with machine learning techniques and algorithms including ensemble models. • Apply knowledge of Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, advanced machine learning and Statistical Modeling, Quantitative Analysis, Forecasting, and Data Visualization to facilitate the automation of testing. • Utilize data analytics tools of Tableau and Alteryx to conduct thorough analysis of large financial datasets to extract actionable insights and identify trends. • Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite. Qualifications: Required: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related Quantitative occupation • 5 years of experience in building, testing and documenting quantitative models consistent with model development procedures and model risk management expectations • 5 years of experience in applying statistical skills of distributions, statistical testing, and regression with machine learning techniques and algorithms including ensemble models • 5 years of experience in applying knowledge of Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, advanced machine learning and Statistical Modeling, Quantitative Analysis, Forecasting, and Data Visualization to facilitate the automation of testing • 5 years of experience in utilizing data analytics tools of Tableau and Alteryx to conduct thorough analysis of large financial datasets to extract actionable insights and identify trends Company: Bank of America is a financial institution that offers credit cards, home loans, and auto loan services.
