Job Title: Solution Architect
Location: Louisville, Kentucky (Hybrid)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
Pay Rate: DOE
(1 week in a month Hybrid) Consider Nashville - resources if willing to come 1 week in a month hybrid Client bare the expenses
Role Summary:
Own technical architecture, integrations, security design, and scalability across STEP,
FOCUS, MenuMaster, Workshop, and CI/CD layers.
Key Responsibilities:
Define end-to-end architecture blueprint and system flows
Evaluate tech stack integration, performance bottlenecks, and deployment risks
Lead design reviews, data modeling, and integration patterns across systems
Guide developers, DevOps, and QA on system boundaries and flow governance
Own documentation of architecture diagrams, NFRs, and resiliency strategy
Requirements:
10+ years of experience across backend architecture and system integration
Hands-on with Java/Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, REST APIs
Experience with CI/CD tooling (Harness, Jenkins), POS automation, and Workshop CLI
Deep knowledge of MDM tools like STEP and commerce/POS integration strategies
Tools: Lucidchart/Visio, Bitbucket, Postman, Jira Seniority level
