Who You Are
We seek a Director, Program Management to support the cross-functional development of oncology assets at BBOT. The ideal candidate will have extreme attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and juggle priorities. The role requires someone who can organize projects effectively in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and excellent communication skills are a must. We are looking for a self-starter to support early-stage development programs. Experience as a Project or Program Manager in a pharmaceutical or biotech company is necessary.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the Project Team members to define, plan and schedule activities to satisfy the project objectives. Responsible for planning/tracking/execution of projects from pre-IND through NDA stage. Drive execution of the integrated project plan within the project team environment. Track and control project activities; ensure coordination of activities between all departments. Clearly and proactively communicate progress, issues, or deviations that may impact the project schedule, timelines, and costs. Lead team members to identify critical path activities, and resource constraints, risks, and conflicts that could impact the schedule, timelines, and costs. Facilitate and lead effective project team meetings, including the creation of effective meeting agendas and precise documentation of meeting discussion points and decisions taken. Maintain and communicate a current overview of project status and issues. Assist in budget development and tracking.
Requirements
Education and Qualifications
3-6 years of experience in pharmaceutical drug development. At least two years of experience as a project manager for a cross-functional team. Experience with regulatory submissions (IND, NDA) is a plus. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (scientific or healthcare discipline preferred). Assertive and proactive and able to influence others with humility and a collaborative spirit. Well-developed interpersonal skills. Highly organized, meticulous attention to detail.
Work Location (IF APPLICABLE)
This role is based in South San Francisco, CA and operates in a hybrid capacity, with an expected 2-3 days per week onsite. Flexibility may be considered for exceptional candidates with deep public company or biotech experience.
Salary
The annual salary range for this position is $228,000 - $265,000 in the San Francisco Bay Area. BBOT considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, skills, education, qualifications, and geographic location. Actual compensation will vary, and it is not typical to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
Base compensation is part of a robust total rewards offering at BBOT. Additional total rewards elements include annual bonus, stock-based long-term incentives, medical, dental, and vision benefits, retirement, wellness stipend, and flexible time off. Seniority level
