Capture Director
will serve as the lead within KBR’s business development organization, focusing on winning new business across a broad portfolio including
Federal Civilian Agencies . Responsibilities include leading large, prime, full, and open opportunities, and managing top pursuits across KBR. Primary work location: Fulton, MD, with assigned customers across the US. Position can be 100% remote depending on location. Travel to client locations will be approximately 20-40% of work time. Responsibilities
Ownership of assigned opportunities supporting KBR’s growth Management and execution of the full business development lifecycle across multiple pursuits Handling 2-3 large ($250M+) solicitation pursuits at various stages Developing winning strategies, capture plans, and leading activities to achieve success Participating in pipeline development, opportunity qualification, customer engagement, and proposal activities Leading milestone reviews, team mentoring, competitive assessments, and proposal submissions Applying best practices and briefing senior management on capture status Basic Qualifications
Proven success in winning large prime, single award, non-IDIQ contracts Experience with programs over $300M in the federal government Minimum 15 years’ successful capture experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Ability to work with senior leaders and lead teams Knowledge of space and engineering support acquisition organizations Understanding of financial outcomes, corporate rates, and opportunity assessment Leadership in business development, capture management, and related disciplines Compensation $186,400 - $279,600, based on location, experience, and other factors.
