The Machine Learning Scientist will lead and collaborate on designing, developing, and deploying advanced ML algorithms to improve business systems. Develop end-to-end ML models using ML, NLP, LLM/AI techniques for privacy-related signals. Analyze large, complex datasets to extract insights and inform decisions. Design experiments, test, and refine models to optimize recommendations and user satisfaction. Communicate findings and influence decision-making. You will use data-driven methods to measure, validate, and envision TikTok's privacy evolution, building analytics tools and using AI models to derive insights and diagnose issues. Collaboration with engineering, legal, audit, security, public policy, and product teams is essential to build domain expertise in privacy. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: PhD in CS, CE, ML, or related field Strong background in NLP, LLM/AI, personalization, and deep learning Experience with data extraction, cleaning, analysis, and presentation for medium to large datasets Proficiency in Python, R, Java, C++, and SQL Experience in NLP, generative AI, or reinforcement learning Experience with LLM fine-tuning and open-source deployment Preferred Qualifications: Experience developing LLM-based AI agents or autonomous systems Knowledge of optimization techniques Experience with explainable AI and integrating LLMs with systems Expertise in prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and alignment for LLMs Designing systems with optimization and ML components By applying, you agree to TikTok's privacy policy.
