The Senior Machine Learning Engineer role focuses on developing groundbreaking solutions through financial risk modeling to generate substantial business and social impact. Responsibilities include designing, developing, A/B testing, and deploying risk models; collaborating with data scientists; enhancing credit and fraud models quarterly; monitoring feature and model health; exploring and integrating advanced technologies such as deep learning and LLMs; leading operational excellence; and expanding responsibilities as new products emerge. Requirements include a Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; 4+ years of machine learning experience with strong software engineering skills; proficiency in ML techniques including LLMs, deep learning, sequence, and tree-based models; knowledge of credit/fraud risk and portfolio management is a plus; advanced Python programming, SQL, and data manipulation skills; experience with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and cloud platforms (AWS Sagemaker, Databricks, GCP Vertex AI); excellent communication and collaboration abilities; and a passion for continuous learning and growth. The position is hybrid, requiring in-office work 2 days a week in Mountain View. Seniority level
