Position Overview We seek a Senior INDOPACOM Subject Matter Expert to support rapid development of DoD projects and prototypes, working within the Office of the Secretary of Defense and embedded with PACAF to help decision-makers identify impactful capabilities for quick deployment. Responsibilities Proficiency in DoD Acquisition lifecycle and operational analysis across multiple domains. Familiarity with DoD R&D ecosystem and lifecycle. Knowledge of PACAF structure, priorities, and key contacts. Develop strategic and technical plans integrating technology and CONOPS for innovative capabilities. Assess proposed capabilities and provide recommendations for kinetic and non-kinetic projects. Analyze concepts using government models and conduct red-teaming to meet decision milestones. Evaluate R&D efforts, prototypes, and field trials for technical merit. Coordinate with INDOPACOM research offices and support global exercises and engagements. Assist in administrative tasks for RDT&E programs, including planning and reporting. Support multi-disciplinary teams across multiple sites nationwide. Required Qualifications TS/SCI clearance, active or recently debriefed within 24 months. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field. 15+ years of program management, operational, and analytical experience. Service Level Acquisition experience. Operational analysis experience in multi-domain environments preferred. Expertise in program management, systems engineering, and areas such as long-range fires, AI, autonomous systems, cyber, or communications. Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Excel, or similar tools. Excellent communication skills, team-oriented, and self-motivated. Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally. Preferred Qualifications Active duty support experience for PACAF. Experience in government program management and SAPs or space programs. Master’s degree preferred.
