What You'll be Doing : As the Technology Project & Program Manager, you will help us ensure that nurses, nurse educators, and hospital administrators benefit from our Nursing digital products, which include content and workflow functionalities in our point-of-care and point-of-learning solutions. This Product Owner will be responsible for executing the roadmap priorities for key digital offerings in Nursing—Nursing Center and CE Connection. You will develop an in-depth understanding of user needs and workflows to ensure nurses have the resources needed for optimal education and professional development, ultimately enhancing patient care. The Product Owner manages product development for assigned products and their relationship with WK Technology. While not expected to make technical decisions or understand detailed coding, you should have a sufficient understanding of technology issues and the value each release provides to customers. The role reports to the Director of Product Development, Nursing, and is part of a team of Product Owners across Nursing. This is a Jr. level role. Key Tasks : Coordinate with Product Management on activities like Lean experiments, market intelligence, and customer insights to understand needs deeply. Translate high-level user stories into specific technical requests with success metrics. Maintain organized and prioritized product backlogs. Own the product development lifecycle, working with Agile/Scrum teams to plan and execute sprints and releases aligned with the roadmap. Ensure assigned products meet standards for security, privacy, accessibility, and integration with other systems. Collaborate with other Product Owners and Tech colleagues for interface and development efficiencies. Serve as the subject matter expert for questions and updates from various teams and stakeholders. You're a Great Fit if You Have These / Can : College degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience. At least 1 year of experience in digital product development with Agile/Scrum teams or relevant experience in the nursing market. Strong knowledge of the entire product development process from concept to post-launch. Experience leading product development and understanding user needs and market trends. Ability to craft workflows and user requirements aligned with business goals. Understanding of technology opportunities, constraints, risks, and mitigation strategies. Structured thinking and prioritization skills. Excellent communication skills. Strong project management skills, including scheduling and budgeting. Basic knowledge of the healthcare/nursing market. Familiarity with customer research, data analytics, and dashboard creation. Certification as Scrum Master or Product Owner (e.g., Scrum Alliance). Experience with simulation/virtual reality products is a plus. Experience creating stakeholder demos, troubleshooting escalations, and using backlog tools (Jira, Trello, etc.). Ability to travel up to 15% (if not based in Philadelphia or Baltimore). We are a supportive team committed to daily success and making a difference.
