Direct message the job poster from SoTalent Job Title : Senior Application Developer Type : Full Time We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Application Developer with deep expertise in the Microsoft Azure cloud ecosystem. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance applications on Azure while serving as a technical liaison between business and development teams. You’ll collaborate on cloud migration strategies, build modern web applications using .NET technologies, and ensure solutions meet enterprise-level standards for security, scalability, and availability. Your technical leadership will help shape the success of complex Azure-based transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement secure, resilient, and scalable cloud-native applications in Microsoft Azure, including multi-region deployments. Translate business and technical requirements into scalable solution architectures and software components. Develop and document infrastructure-as-code (IaC) for repeatable and automated deployments. Lead or contribute to full software development life cycle (SDLC) activities including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment. Modernize legacy systems and support the migration of on-premises applications to Azure cloud platforms. Collaborate with stakeholders to present architecture options, resolve technical challenges, and manage expectations. Coordinate and conduct unit, integration, and performance testing, including creation of test plans and automation scripts. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members on Azure tools, services, and development best practices. Participate in production support, incident resolution, and performance monitoring as part of normal operations. Languages & Frameworks: Tools & Practices: Azure DevOps, Azure IaaS/PaaS, Cloud Migrations (on-prem to cloud, cloud to cloud), SDLC, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Agile development Documentation & Design: Flowcharts, process diagrams, technical specs, logic workflows, test cases Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field 10+ years of experience in full-stack development with Microsoft technologies 8+ years of experience designing and developing enterprise web applications, APIs, and DevOps pipelines 5+ years working with OOP languages and relational databases, including within Azure environments 4+ years of experience integrating Azure services with third-party and custom applications 3+ years of hands-on development using core Azure tools: Azure SQL, Azure Functions, App Services, Data Factory, Cosmos DB, CI/CD 2+ years of experience with end-to-end Azure cloud migration or hybrid cloud implementation Prior experience in a team or technical leadership role on large-scale software development projects Preferred Attributes: Strong understanding of cloud architecture and application lifecycle management Experience modernizing legacy applications for cloud-native platforms Proven track record of delivering secure, high-performance applications in regulated enterprise environments Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills Seniority level
