Manager, Brand Communications As the Manager, Brand Communications at CAVA, you will lead the development and execution of national public relations strategies that build brand visibility, credibility, and engagement. You will manage media relations and external communications that support brand campaigns, product launches, social impact initiatives, and community storytelling. In this role, you’ll work closely with our PR agency and cross-functional partners to shape CAVA’s public narrative and secure earned media opportunities across consumer, lifestyle, and food media. What You’ll Do: Lead the development and execution of external communications and PR campaigns that support CAVA’s brand strategy, restaurant growth, and product innovation Collaborate with internal partners (Marketing, Social, Creative, Culinary) to bring brand stories to life through earned media and external visibility Serve as day-to-day liaison with PR agency to manage pitches, campaign timelines, media relationships, and reporting Act as a media contact for incoming requests and proactively identify speaking, feature, and brand storytelling opportunities Support press releases, media kits, Q&A documents, and talking points for external campaigns and spokesperson prep Monitor news cycles and trends to identify real-time brand opportunities and “newsjacking” moments Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and content creators across relevant media outlets Develop messaging and storytelling that highlights CAVA’s mission, food, growth, and social impact in a compelling and culturally relevant way Track campaign performance and provide insights and reporting on earned media impact and reach Support reputation management and assist in crisis communications scenarios as needed The Qualifications: 5–7 years of experience in public relations, brand communications, or media strategy — agency or in-house Proven track record developing and executing successful earned media campaigns and managing media relationships Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a clear and compelling storytelling style Ability to translate business goals and cultural insights into creative PR ideas Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines Collaborative team player who builds strong relationships across departments and with agency partners Experience in hospitality, food, retail, or lifestyle brands preferred Bachelor's degree in Communications, PR, Journalism, or related field Physical Requirements: Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner What we offer: Competitive salary, plus bonus and long-term incentives* Early Wage Access!
