The Communications and Signaling team is seeking shift supervisors to support the inspection, maintenance, and repair of our communications infrastructure. Shift Supervisors lead a team of technicians, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and meeting Metro's quality standards. The ideal candidate has strong leadership and communications skills with experience providing leadership or mentorship to peers. Experience in a supervisory role is preferred but not required! Summary
TheShiftSupervisor,CommunicationsandSignalingMaintenanceisresponsibleforsupervisingthe installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of the communications and signaling systems of the Authority within established guidelines.

Supervisesonshiftbasis,assigned maintenancepersonnelperformingmaintenance inspection , andrepairofassigned equipment. Schedulesworkassignmentsaccordingtopriority, monitorsprogressthrough thesatisfactory completion of work. ImplementsCommunicationsandSignalingMaintenanceControlPlanandoperatingandsafety rules and regulations. MonitorstheMaintenanceManagementSystem(e.g.,MAXIMO)forworkcompletionandopens work orders. Respondstoincidents andprovidesupdates to management. Monitorsemployeeperformanceandprovidesappropriatecorrectionas needed.

Providesinputondepartmentimprovement initiatives. Requisitionsmaterials,partsandtools, andensurestheirproperuseand care. OperatesanAuthority vehicleas required. Maintains and promotes awareness and accountability with safety policies and procedures while performing job functions. Promotes a positive safety culture and encourages reporting of safety concernsconsistentwithourAgency SafetyPlan,otherregulatoryrequirementswithintheSafety Management System and just culture principles.
