This is a finance position responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Inventory Control functions. Responsibilities include performing warehouse inventory cycle counts, investigating suspected out-of-balance items, making corrections based on research, coordinating special inventory processing such as return to vendor shipments, and other related tasks. Location
FULL TIME ONSITE IN FREMONT, CA Responsibilities
Manage inventory control, driver check-in, and quality assurance functions. Lead staff to resolve variances and achieve accurate perpetual inventory, protecting company assets. Develop and implement procedures to maximize inventory accuracy and minimize shrinkage. Oversee driver check-in processes, ensuring dues are collected, deposited, obligations are accounted for, and adjustments are made accurately and timely. Review daily inventory reports for errors; communicate findings to Finance, Operations, and Merchandise departments. Organize shrink meetings; identify root causes of shrinkage. Participate in hiring and training inventory staff. Manage performance and development of inventory associates. Oversee the Product Recall process. Ensure compliance with Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) standards. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred. Proper training and licensing for operating powered industrial equipment. HACCP certification required. Experience
3 to 5 years in inventory control management and supervision. Skills
Experience in food service inventory management preferred. Proficiency in PC skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and databases. Effective report writing and communication skills. Strong problem-solving and listening skills. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Additional Details
