This key leadership role involves overseeing the Building Division's activities, coordinating complex development issues, enforcing building and housing codes, and serving as a member of the City’s Executive Management Team. Responsibilities
Direct, supervise, and plan the activities of the Building Division Coordinate and resolve complex development issues and disputes Enforce building and housing codes Oversee boards and commissions related to building and development Serve as a principal enforcement officer and a member of the City’s Executive Management Team Qualifications and Skills The candidate must demonstrate the ability to handle highly complex tasks requiring intense mental attention, problem-solving skills, and effective communication with public officials, employees, and the public.
