Applies principles of software engineering to design, develop, maintain, test, and evaluate software that provides business solutions. Manages system lifecycle, researches emerging technologies, and supports application development and integration. Focus areas include web applications, using various languages and platforms. Defines application complexity, estimates efforts, and tracks progress. Provides functional expertise, often with university education and experience. May supervise others, focusing on individual expertise and solving complex problems independently. Leads teams or projects, following agile best practices. Key Responsibilities:
Identify and recommend improvements to software development lifecycle and agile practices. Contribute to software development strategies, including testing, continuous integration, and deployment. Develop roadmaps and guidelines for agile practices in complex projects. Manage multiple project plans, priorities, and resources; monitor progress and optimize efficiency. Analyze data to troubleshoot complex issues; collaborate across disciplines to find solutions. Identify areas for improvement in application development and develop enhancements. Recommend system integrations to address business challenges. Must-Have Qualifications & Skills:
Core Front-End Skills: Proficiency in JavaScript frameworks: React, Angular, or Vue.js. HTML/CSS mastery, including responsive design and accessibility. Version control: Git/GitHub. Testing frameworks: Jest, Cypress, Playwright. GenAI-Specific Skills: Prompt engineering and experience integrating GenAI models (e.g., GPT, DALL·E). Knowledge of transformer architectures, GANs, VAEs. Data preprocessing and management for GenAI. Awareness of AI ethics, privacy, and licensing considerations. Programming Languages: Python for AI backend support. TypeScript/JavaScript for front-end development. Experience with RESTful APIs for GenAI integration. Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, or related. Cloud experience: AWS, Azure, GCP. Experience with RAG and model fine-tuning. Other Criteria:
