Posted: 8/6/2025 Location: Cedar High School About the Position Cedar High School is seeking a Head Coach for Boys Lacrosse. This position remains open until filled. The Head Coach is responsible for coaching student athletes, developing game strategies, organizing practices, and ensuring compliance with athletic regulations. Responsibilities
Organize team meetings and encourage participation. Assess players' skills and assign positions. Develop practice schedules for individual and team development. Coordinate with the Athletic Director on scheduling and facilities. Ensure training and certification compliance. Coach players on rules, techniques, and sportsmanship. Monitor and improve player performance. Develop game strategies based on team capabilities. Maintain proper supervision and discipline. Monitor academic eligibility of players. Handle injuries according to procedures. Communicate with parents regarding athletic performance. Promote the sport and act as a team representative. Manage travel requests and financial planning. Oversee equipment and uniform maintenance. Coordinate awards and recognition activities. Maintain records and participate in school activities. Qualifications Experience at a similar level is preferred. The position is full-time, mid-senior level, in the education management industry.
